Installing it

Tillio POS Lite is distributed directly to pilot sites, not through an app store. Both systems will warn you before installing. That is expected, and here is exactly what you will see.

Windows

64-bit

  1. Download the installer

    A single .exe. Nothing else needs to be installed first.

  2. Get past the Windows warning

    The installer is not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen will stop it. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Check the SHA-256 above first if you want to be certain the file is ours.

  3. Activate with your license

    On first launch the app opens on License Activation. Existing installs keep their data: installing over the top is an upgrade, not a reset.

Android

APK

  1. Download the APK

    Take arm64 unless the device is older than about 2019, in which case take arm32. Installing the wrong one simply fails; it cannot damage anything.

  2. Allow the install

    Because this is not from Play Store, Android asks once for permission to install from your browser or file manager. Allow it, then open the downloaded file again.

  3. Activate with your license

    Install straight over the previous version to keep your data. Do not uninstall first, because that clears the device database.
